How can I be ashamed
Of the One I hold so dear?
The One whose word has come to me
The One whose love has found me.
How can I not speak out
Of the One who rescued me?
The One who came down from above

Living in a world hostile to God it can be tempting to want to retreat into a Christian ghetto and let the world get on with their lives without Christ, or to the other extreme water down our own commitment to the God who saved us to avoid being persecuted. His unfailing love for us however produces in us a love for Him and His word. It is right that this love should drive and motivate us to speak out for Him giving an answer for the hope that we have in Christ, even to those who openly oppose Him.

Walking the way of word of the God who saves is the longing and passion of the Christian believer. Yet life is hard, we struggle with sin and there are those who oppose. "119" explores the longest Psalm, Psalm 119, and seeks to help us get its various themes into our heart that our love for the Lord Jesus might grow and we might be more and more faithful to Him.
