I want to thank you today
For forgiveness, forgiveness
I want to live every day
For your glory, for your glory
For though my sins were as scarlet
You've washed me whiter than the snow
For though my sins were as scarlet
You've washed me whiter than the snow
Whiter than the snow
Blessed is that man whose sin
You will not hold against him
By your grace I'm one such man
By your mercy, by your mercy
No it wasn't my idea
Nor my initiative
But only by your grace
Poured down from above
Yes I called upon your name
And you turned and rescued me
But from beginning to the end
It's by your grace that I've been redeemed
And so what else can I say
Here's my life Lord, take my life Lord
Let it be Yours today
And every day for You my Saviour
I remember very clearly the Lord speaking to me though Romans 4: 7-8. This was one of the first times that I felt assurance that the Lord had forgiven my sin. That was a beautiful moment.
"Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them."
Amen!
