Lord, hear my prayer; here this prayer
I come before your throne
I come upon my knees in my time of need
I've sinned; failed again
Grieved Your heart grieved Your Spirit too
Doing the very thing I didn't want to do

But You're the God;
The God of grace
Who is love
Who sent his Son
Who through the cross
Has become
My righteousness
And peace with You

Your word clearly says that if come and confess my sin
You're faithful and You're just and you will forgive me:
Just as if I never sinned
And as if I've always done what's right
Justified in You, cleansed from all unrighteousness

You're the God;
The God of grace
Who is love
Who sent his Son
Who through the cross
Has become
My righteousness
And peace with You
